Doves mate for life, what could be
better than that!
We were High School Sweethearts and have been married for 40 years. Jon was in the Air Force 21 years as a missile launch officer. Jon is now a science teacher and business owner of "Jon's Doves in Flight". Shirley is part owner in the dove business and working together at our dove release business is great. Jon does all the training and raising of the birds. Jon
has been raising birds for 35 years and is really into the genetics for the breed. The last five years Jon has worked very hard to breed the best birds possible and we can say now that we have great flyers for releases. Shirley designed the website, takes the pictures and is the secretary/bookkeeper. We both take part in the releases and are quite the team together.
